AC35: Looks like lighter-air for Round Robin 2

ONCE AGAIN, you read it first here on SAILING ILLUSTRATED – after tomorrow (Tuesday) which is Day 1 of Round Robin 2, the forecast is for light to un-raceably light air Wednesday through Friday. It looks like the breeze will come good again on Saturday. Thursday is a scheduled lay-day, but if Wednesday is un-raceable then there will racing on Thursday. Lose Wed-Fri? Regatta Director Iain Murray (AUS) and his ACRM colleagues will have a real fuster cluck on their hands.

Another point. Who do you think is favored by lighter air? Many keen observers say the Kiwis have the edge in the lighter going, at least over the other challengers. Time will tell. But it looks like breezier conditions tomorrow, in which Artemis has reveled. First race Tuesday in RR2 – Artemis Racing v. Emirates Team New Zealand.
