Chicago-Mac: Photos from today's Racing Div start, and the latest from the Race Tracker
CHICAGO – As we all know, often times a picture is worth a thousand words – in this case the Chi-Mac race tracker below, a screenshot from a few minutes ago. (Link to the tracker, as always, at the bottom of this post.) Friday afternoon the Cruising Division started the 333nm race to Mackinac Island between Michigan's lower and upper peninsulas. They have reveled in the decent southerly they've had for the the past 18 hours. A good bit of the fleet are already well up the lake.
The Racing Division started today, and as you can see they are the second clump more or less mid-lake off Milwaukee in lighter breeze. In the gallery below, more nice photos by Michele Almeida from the today's Racing Div start.
