J/70 Worlds: Congrats to American YC's Peter Duncan; tops the huge 163-boat fleet at YCCS in Sar
PORTO CERVO, SARDINIA, ITA – Peter Duncan (USA, American Yacht Club) racing RELATIVE OBSCURITY with Victor Diaz de Leon, Jud Smith and Willem van Waay have just won the J/70 Worlds over a huge 163-boat fleet (82 boats in the Gold Fleet with finishes of 3-1-1-2-1-3; amazingly consistent especially considering the wide ranging conditions over the week. Honorable mention to Brian Keane (USA, Beverly YC) and his team sailing SAVASANA finished second 15 points back. Lots of great photos and videos at the Zerogradinord Facebook page.
