SAN FRANCISCO (#1243) — Here's the first AC75 capsize, at least the first one captured on camera that went public. Photo courtesy of ETNZ. Video from a friend. ETNZ say they righted the boat and continued training. Remember, too, that they are missing two of their regular crew — Josh Junior and Andy Maloney — who are racing (and well) in the Finn Gold Cup in Melbourne.

It will be interesting to see video of how the boat was righted. I have such video on promise. When the design was introduced, the AC75 was advertised as self-righting. Did it right itself today?
